JAKARTA - The shareholders of PT Catur Sentosa Tbk Adiprana (CSAP) to approve the acquisition of land for the opening of three new branches. This expansion is expected to grow 15 percent sales mengenjot through Rp3, 3 trillion.
"Today the land acquisition plan for branch offices and warehouses have been approved by shareholders," said Director of CSAP Triana Soenaryo after the general meeting of shareholders (AGM) of the company in Jakarta, Tuesday (25/05/2010).
He said, CSAP has budgeted capital expenditures that will be used to increase the branch network and storage. The location of the land acquired is 21 000 square meters persergi (m2) in three locations namely Bogor (West Java), Pekanbaru (Riau) and Pangkalpinang (Kepulaun Riau). "With the addition of this facility, expected to increase distribution services to consumers," he said.
CSAP currently has 37 branches throughout Indonesia for the distribution of building materials and chemical products. In addition CSAP also has 18 modern retail outlets and five Mitra10 SB Furniture showroom.
With the expansion of these branches, the company is optimistic this year could boost sales grew by 15 percent to Rp3, 3 trillion by the year 2009 amounted to Rp2, 9 trillion. In a consolidated sales target, the company would strengthen the modern retail segment in the first quarter of 2010 grew 24 percent and contributed 21 percent of the total revenues of the Company. "With this, we are more optimistic about sales growth target for modern retail segment at 19 percent, or about Rp660 billion can be achieved," says Triana.

This segment accounted for 79 percent of all revenues of CSAP.
Net income in the first three months of this year amounted to Rp11, 8 billion or 45 percent of the total net income target established by the company in 2010 amounted to Rp26 billion. This figure reflects the net profit growth of 19 percent in this quarter.
